When I don’t finish my work on time, I cut. Bad grades? I cut. Something inconvenient happens? Cut. In public situations, I just use a pen and stab at my skin until it bruises. I just love to see the blood, feel the adrenaline, and get hella scars on my arm. Either nobody notices, or nobody cares. Besides that, my life is okay. My parents are a bit...uh...they’re quite the characters, but they still love me. I also have middle child syndrome so there’s that too. 05. When was your first time? What did you use?: I was 15...? I used scissors. It was pure adrenaline. I stopped for a couple months after I had to get stitches, but started again for attention. Idek why I do it. It used to be mostly for attention from guys, and now it’s an actual coping mechanism. 06. Where do you most often SI?: My house and sometimes school. 07. In what room/area do you most often SI?: My bedroom and I can be hella sneaky about it in class. Again, people either don’t notice or don’t care. 08. What do you use?: I wish I could use a boxcutter, but that would probably result in more stitches, so I resort to using razor blades, pens, etc. 09. Do you hide it?: HELL THE FUCK YES. It’s hard to hide, but I manage. Mostly with excessively oversized clothing and different concealers. 10. Do you listen to music while you SI?: Not really. I don’t have the time to put on music when I feel like I need to cut. I just cut. 11. Anyone know?: Family, friends, and nosy ass strangers who can’t mind their own damn business. 12. Eating Disorders?: None 13. Mental Disorders?: Anxiety, Xenomelia, Depression, OCD, and I’m a pathological liar (but I promise everything that I’ve written here is true) 14. What would you do if you found cuts on your best friend?: Fuck idk. The last time I had a best friend, he tried cutting to get me to stop cutting. That was a smooooth cut the fuck off. Idk why some people think that it’s a power move. "If you don’t stop cutting, I’ll start" or "Every time you cut, I’ll cut". That stuff just makes me mad. Whyyyyy would you even- girl i- anyways. That entire situation drastically changed my mental state, then he stopped caring, I stopped caring...everyone stopped caring. That’s when it went from attention-seeking to straight-up smuggling razor blades and medical equipment into my house. Sheesh. What a life I live.
